There is no "duplicate contract" function, but you can start a new contract that is a copy of an old one using contract upload.

In the Contracts Tab, click "New Contract" and then choose the Upload option to upload a .docx file:

The uploaded document will not include dynamic fields for collection of meta data and eSign capability, but if you wish to include these dynamic features they can be rapidly added in our streamlined contract setup tool. Click highlighted yellow fields to define variables and plug in the correct values for this new contract:

To create additional variables (ones that are not already suggested for you in the yellow highlighting), quick-add Party and Variable elements in the Elements Panel, which opens at upper left of screen.

If you want to eSign this contract on Outlaw, don't forget to Insert a signature field:

If you do not wish to eSign or collect meta data on this contract, you can skip the above process. In either case, when set-up is complete click "Edit in Flow" to move to the next step, where you can access Outlaw's full range of collaborative workflow and document editing tools ("Review"), eSign ("Sign") or store/export ("Done"):

Something to consider...

While the above directions allow you to achieve the desired result, if you've already created a template set up with dynamic fields defined for collecting the meta data you need, you may find that it's easier to simply start a new contact from your template and plug in the variables again.

Need to save time?  Here's a tip:  you can plug in Variables lightning-fast in the Manage Variables panel. Fill in dynamic fields without having to scroll through a long document:
