The default display for Party elements is the "colloquial" or shortened form of a company's name, which automatically removes identifiers such as "LLC" or "Inc."

Because this is the default display for Party elements, unless additional formatting is applied (see below on how to do this) the shortened form of an organization's name will show up in contracts when information is filled in for the "Company Name" field:

So in the above example, if "Outlaw Inc." is entered in the Company Name field, when the default display is active the shortened name "Outlaw" shows up.

Format element to display "Legal Name"

To display the full legal name of a company, apply formatting to display the "Legal Name" property for this element. To do this, click on the copy of the element you want to format, and select the "Legal Name" option from the drop down menu:

Note that the above action is taken in the template. Once this formatting is applied in the teamplate, this copy of the element will display the Legal Name property in contracts:

Note:  this formatting process can be applied to display any of the available element properties, including business address and name of authorized signer.
