**This article describes a basic end-to-end deal process on Outlaw, assuming your team has already set up and activated at least one dynamic template.**

1. Create New Contract

To begin working on a new deal, navigate to the "Contracts" tab and click the purple New Contract button. Then choose "Generate from template":

2. Contract Set Up

Fill in all dynamic elements (blue click-able fields) in contract text.  Example: annual starting salary:

"Parties" are a special kind of dynamic field where information about individuals signing the document get filled in:

A counterparty's signer can fill in and edit their own information, but can not edit the rest of the document unless you give them access to do so.

Note:  if a feature called "Auto-Include" has been activated, this information for your side of the deal may be filled in as soon as a new agreement is created.  To learn about activating or adjusting this setting, click here.

3. Share Contract

Sharing is how people gain access to contracts on Outlaw. The Manage Users Panel is where you go to share contracts with people--including the counterparty when it's time for them to review and sign the document.  

The panel opens at upper right of the contract screen (person icon):

In this panel you can share a contract with someone already listed there, add a teammate (someone in your organization), or add a new user external to your organization.

Click "share" under a user's name to generate an invitation for that user (via email notification or link) to view the contract.

You can also re-share a contract here, edit or remove user information, and adjust user permissions. If the word "share" does not appear under the user's name, it means this person already has access to the deal (contract was shared and accessed previously) so you don't need to re-share.

4. Negotiate:  every deal process is unique!

5. E-Sign!

Once all dynamic fields are filled in and all negotiation points have been resolved, parties can sign when ready. Users who are authorized signers simply click or tap the appropriate e-signature field:
