To change the font formatting of an individual section within Draft
While editing a template, select the section or clause that you'd like to modify. In the sidebar, click the Section tab and then the Format sub-tab.
In this side panel, you can select theme properties for the selected section. These selections will override the theme default that’s set for the entire template.
Section Borders
Section borders allow visible borders to be applied and configured for Paragraph, Captions, and Header section types. To enable borders on a section, select that section in the template editor and navigate to Section > Format in the right-hand panel.
Enable the Borders option to display borders around that specific section. Borders can be configured for all sides or only specific sides, and with a designated line width in pixels. The Spacing setting can be used to adjust spacing above and below a section, allowing sections to be vertically “merged” to create more complex outlines of content. Note that an upper section’s Bottom space and a lower section’s Top space are effectively the same shared space, so only the larger of the two values will be used.
Captions Section Types
For Captions sections, built-in borders and Section Borders are linked and will update in both setting locations. Also note that Captions have a divider enabled by default under Section > General, which visually splits the borders. This setting must , and must be disabled for the captions to visually connect their borders.
Paragraphs above Captions will not align visually, as Captions are slightly indented. To add a full-width section with borders above Captions, enable the option to “Display Caption Title”.
Reset font formatting and revert to theme styling
When a section has had any of its font formatting properties modified (from the theme default) the section type will note that it has been changed. Simply tap the Reset button to revert to the default theme style set by the theme.
